I purchased the HDMI to VGA Adapter to use to split the HDMI signal from my DSTV, Blu ray player and Media player. I am using it to split the HDMI output from the HDMI splitter to my LG projector’s VGA input. It works great !Only problem was that it affected the audio on my HD TV for some reason. Other than that this product was great value for money.

The adapter works as advertised for connecting my Raspberry Pi to a VGA display. The adapter does not emit an HDMI hotplug signal so you have to edit /boot/config.txt in order to force usage of the HDMI display.
